By accessing our website, contacting us to place an order, or purchasing our products, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or place an order.

The entity you contract with depends on where you are located and how your order is fulfilled.
Customers in the UK and EU generally contract with Grid Electric Limited.
Customers in the United States generally contract with Gride Solutions Inc.
In other regions, the contracting entity may vary based on fulfillment location and shipping route.
What We Sell and How Pricing Works
We manufacture and supply electric drive systems and related accessories, including the GXT⁺ Drive System, replacement parts, batteries, chargers, mounts, and related components.
Our website typically shows consumer-facing information and MSRP pricing where applicable. Dealer pricing is issued directly to authorized dealers and is not publicly listed on the website.
Pricing depends on what you order and your location. Product prices may be shown as inclusive or exclusive of VAT or sales tax, depending on the region. Shipping costs are additional unless we confirm otherwise in writing.
Where a price is not shown on the website, you can request a quotation by emailing us, and we will confirm pricing before you commit to an order.
How to Buy, Request a Quote, or Place an Order
You can purchase or request products in the following ways:
If you are a consumer, you may purchase through an authorized dealer. In some cases, we may also accept direct enquiries and provide a quotation or direct purchase route, depending on region and product availability.
If you are an authorized dealer, you can request a quotation or place purchase orders by email. We will confirm specification, availability, shipping, and any applicable fees before issuing an invoice or payment request.
A purchase is only confirmed once we have accepted the order and either received payment (where required) or agreed written credit terms with an authorized dealer.
Payments, Fees, and Processing Charges
We offer payment methods that may include bank transfer and electronic payment methods, depending on the customer type and region.
Where an electronic payment method is used, a processing fee may apply. Any applicable fee will be shown on the invoice or payment request before you approve payment.
If you prefer to avoid processing fees, you may pay by bank transfer where available.
Pre-Orders and Backorders
Some products may be offered on a pre-order or backorder basis due to manufacturing lead times or stock timing.
A pre-order or backorder may require a deposit to reserve the allocation. If a deposit is required, we will confirm the deposit amount, what it reserves, and the estimated lead time in writing.
If your order has not been locked for manufacturing or allocation, you may request cancellation and a refund of any deposit, subject to any non-recoverable costs we have already incurred and clearly confirmed to you in writing.
Once an order is locked for manufacturing or allocation, cancellation may result in a reasonable fee or deduction to cover costs already incurred, such as production scheduling, custom parts allocation, supplier charges, and outbound logistics preparation. Any such fee will be communicated to you clearly.
Estimated delivery windows for pre-orders are estimates and may change due to supply chain timelines, carrier schedules, or component availability. We will keep you informed if there is a meaningful change.
Returns and Cancellations
Returns and Cancellations (Dealer Orders)
Gride Solutions supplies products to authorized dealers for resale. Order cancellations or amendments should be requested before dispatch wherever possible. Once goods have shipped, returns are only accepted by prior agreement and must be unused, in perfect resale condition, and include all original packaging, components, and documentation.
Consumer Returns (Products Purchased Through Dealers)
If you purchased a GXT⁺ system or accessory through one of our authorized dealers, all returns, cancellations, and refunds must be handled directly with that dealer, in line with their store policies. Gride Solutions does not process refunds for items sold by dealers unless the product qualifies for a warranty replacement.
Faulty or Warranty-Based Returns
If a product is suspected to be faulty, the supplying dealer must submit a warranty claim through the Gride Solutions warranty portal. Following inspection and approval, a repair, replacement, or refund will be issued in accordance with our warranty policy.
Items Not Eligible for Return
Returns are not accepted for products that have been installed, used, modified, returned without original packaging or missing components, supplied as special-order or customized items, or damaged due to incorrect installation, misuse, water ingress, or unauthorized repair.
Refund Processing
For authorized returns, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving and inspecting the product. Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the item is confirmed defective.
Warranties and Repairs
All GXT⁺ Drive Systems come with a standard 24-month warranty on the motor and a 12-month warranty on the battery from the date of purchase. To activate this warranty, customers must complete the warranty registration form within 30 days of purchase. If registration is not completed within this window, warranty coverage is limited to 12 months. Registration requires uploading clear photos of the installed system and providing the product serial number, which can be found on the handover card. Extended warranty coverage for up to 36 months is available at the point of sale and must be supported by proof of purchase.
The warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal residential use, including failure of motor, controller, or battery due to a manufacturing fault. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, water ingress, accidents, incorrect installation, poor storage conditions (e.g., freezing temperatures), unauthorized repairs, or modifications made by third parties.
Consumables and wear-and-tear items such as chains, sprockets, tires, brake pads, and grips are not covered. Cosmetic damage or corrosion due to environmental exposure is also excluded.
Warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable. This does not apply to commercial use cases, including delivery and taxi services, or fleet applications, unless specifically agreed in writing at the time of sale.
This warranty is offered in addition to your statutory rights and does not affect them.
Shipping and Delivery
Shipping costs are confirmed at the time of quotation, invoice, or checkout. Delivery times depend on stock availability, destination, and carrier capacity.
Where products are held in regional stock, we aim to dispatch quickly and, in many cases, can ship the same business day. Typical delivery within the destination country is often within five business days, but this is not guaranteed and will vary by location and service level.
For dealer shipments in North America, shipping is often priced as a standard rate per system for smaller quantities, with at-cost shipping quotes provided for larger orders. Some products, including batteries, require hazmat handling and additional insurance, which can increase shipping costs and affect available service speeds.
Where we confirm delivery terms as Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), import duties and customs charges are included in the delivered price for that shipment. Where DDP is not confirmed in writing, the recipient may be responsible for duties, taxes, or clearance fees charged by the carrier or customs authority.
If delivery is delayed due to circumstances outside our control, including carrier delays, customs inspections, severe weather, strikes, or supply chain disruption, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible.
Taxes, VAT, Sales Tax, and Duties
For UK customers, prices may include VAT where stated. For business customers who are VAT-registered, VAT treatment will depend on the invoice and supply rules for that transaction.
For US customers, prices are generally exclusive of state and local sales taxes unless stated otherwise. If sales tax applies, it will be included at checkout or on the invoice where required.
For international shipments, local taxes, import duties, and handling fees may apply unless we have confirmed DDP in writing for that shipment.
Product Use, Installation, and Safety
Our products are technical components intended to be installed correctly and used safely. Where professional installation is recommended, you should use a qualified installer or an authorized dealer. Damage caused by incorrect installation, unauthorized modification, or misuse is not covered under warranty.
You are responsible for ensuring compatibility with the bike or trike, safe routing of cables, correct torque on fasteners, and safe operation after installation.
Dealer Relationships and Resale
Authorized dealers may be offered separate dealer documentation, pricing, onboarding requirements, and purchasing terms. Those dealer-specific terms apply in addition to these Terms, and where there is a conflict, the dealer-specific written agreement or dealer documentation will take priority for dealer orders.
Consumers purchasing through dealers should rely on the dealer for point-of-sale terms such as payment timing, installation labour charges, and local store policies, in addition to the manufacturer's warranty described above.
Intellectual Property
All website content, product names, branding, manuals, images, and documentation remain the intellectual property of Gride Solutions and its related entities. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our materials without written permission, except where required for legitimate resale listing by authorized dealers.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to the above, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of goodwill.
Our total liability relating to any claim connected to a product will not exceed the amount paid for that product, except where the law requires otherwise.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of the page. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction

If you contract with Gride Solutions Inc., these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, and disputes are subject to the courts of Delaware.
