Welcome to Gride Solutions. Please read the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before purchasing any products from our website. By accessing or using our site, you agree to these Terms.

 

Introduction

These Terms govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from Grid Electric Limited (registered in England & Wales, trading as Gride Solutions) and Gride Solutions Inc. (registered in Delaware, USA).

  • Customers in the UK and EU contract with Grid Electric Limited.
  • Customers in the United States contract with Gride Solutions Inc.
  • Customers in other regions may contract with either entity, depending on location and fulfilment arrangements.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not place an order or use our website.

Pre-Orders

Placing a pre-order secures your product at the listed price. Deposits are refundable until the order is locked for manufacturing. Once locked, we will begin production, and delivery is typically 10–12 weeks from that point.

You may cancel your pre-order at any time before it is locked without penalty. After your order is locked, cancellations may incur a small fee. If you change your mind after receiving the product, we offer a 14-day return period from delivery, provided the product is unused and in its original condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Prices for UK and European customers include VAT at 20%. For U.S. and other international customers, prices are exclusive of taxes and duties, which may be charged separately upon delivery.

 

Returns, Cancellations, and Refunds

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the product. To do so, you must notify us via email. Products must be returned within 14 days after notification and must be unused and in original condition.

Once returned and inspected, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 days. Delivery charges are non-refundable unless the product is faulty.

Products that are personalized or damaged through use are not eligible for return.

 

Warranties and Repairs

All GXT⁺ Drive Systems come with a standard 24-month warranty on the motor and a 12-month warranty on the battery from the date of purchase. To activate this warranty, customers must complete the warranty registration form within 30 days of purchase. If registration is not completed within this window, warranty coverage is limited to 12 months. Registration requires uploading clear photos of the installed system and providing the product serial number, which can be found on the handover card. Extended warranty coverage for up to 36 months is available at the point of sale and must be supported by proof of purchase.

The warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal residential use, including failure of motor, controller, or battery due to a manufacturing fault. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, water ingress, accidents, incorrect installation, poor storage conditions (e.g., freezing temperatures), unauthorized repairs, or modifications made by third parties.

Consumables and wear-and-tear items such as chains, sprockets, tires, brake pads, and grips are not covered. Cosmetic damage or corrosion due to environmental exposure is also excluded.

Warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable. This does not apply to commercial use cases, including delivery and taxi services, or fleet applications, unless specifically agreed in writing at the time of sale.

This warranty is offered in addition to your statutory rights and does not affect them.

 

Shipping and Delivery

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. For international orders, customers are responsible for any additional taxes, duties, or customs charges.

We aim to dispatch orders within 5 business days. Delivery times vary depending on availability and location. Pre-orders will include an estimated delivery window.

If delivery is delayed due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., strikes, supply chain issues), we will notify you promptly. You may cancel your order if the delay is substantial.

 

Taxes and Duties

  • UK/EU customers: Prices include VAT at 20%.
  • U.S. customers: Prices are exclusive of sales tax; local state sales tax may be applied during checkout. Import duties are not included in the price and may be collected by customs if applicable.
  • Other international customers: Local taxes and import duties are not included in the product price and may be charged separately by customs or your courier.

A tax calculator is available at checkout for an estimate of final costs.

 

Payment

We accept major credit/debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Payments are securely processed through encrypted systems.

Customers will be billed in their local currency (USD, CAD, GBP, EUR, etc.), based on current exchange rates at checkout. Your bank or payment provider may apply conversion fees beyond our control.

 

Wholesale and Trade Customers

In addition to retail customers, we also work with authorized dealers and trade partners. Wholesale customers are subject to these same Terms and Conditions, with any additional information (such as dealer packs, pricing, and onboarding requirements) provided directly during the dealer application process.

 

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products, except for claims involving death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

 

Governing Law

  • For UK/EU customers, these Terms are governed by English law, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
  • For U.S. customers, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Delaware.

 

Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated date. By continuing to use our website, you accept the revised Terms.
